Our library is participating in the YALSA Wrestlemania Reading Challenge. Tweens and teens, grades 5 – 12, can win a trip to Wrestlemania 26 just by reading! Let me tell you a little bit about the program.
All you have to do is read a total of ten books, graphic novels, and/or magazines starting Oct. 19, 2009 through Jan. 19, 2010. You can also design a bookmark around a slogan that promotes reading. Reading logs as well as the bookmark entry forms are in the teen area in Bolingbrook. All logs and bookmark designs must be turned in to the library no later than the close of business on January, 19, 2010.
Completed logs will be sent to ALA and entered into a drawing to win a trip for 2 to Wrestlemania 26. The library will be handing out prizes for the program like free paperback books, fine forgiveness coupons, free afternoons of printing in our computer commons and more. We will also have a party on Jan. 23 @ 2 pm in Bolingbrook for those teens that have participated in the program. There will be gaming, food, fun and a prize for the best wrestling costume.
