Meet and greet local Bolingbrook High School student and author, Ricky Spain!
“The Protectors” is his first book. He will be here to talk about it as well as sign books that will be available for purchase here at the library. This program is for 6th to 12th graders – adults are welcome too!
“The Protectors follows the lives of modern-day brothers Tahjay, Eric, and Travon Benson. They are the latest in the long line of supernatural beings called “The Protectors”. Each brother is blessed with the ability to control more than one element, as they protect the ancient box of Neveah from the forces of darkness. They try to balance their everyday normal lives, while keeping their identities a secret, and succeed until they come up against the “Mimicals”, evil shape shifters after the box of Neveah.
