Don’t forget to attend VORTEX orientation!

The Fountaindale Public Library District Vortex is currently holding orientation evenings for parents and students.

Orientation is designed to introduce parents and students to the services and responsibilities of using the Vortex area.

Students wishing to utilize the Vortex teen area MUST attend an orientation time with one or both parents/guardians during the following dates:

Wednesday, March 23
Monday, March 28
Saturday, April 2
Wednesday, April 6

Orientations are scheduled to take place from 4:30-8:30pm each of those days with the exception og April 2nd. Hours on April 2nd are from 2-4pm. Sessions will begin every half hour and will take place in the Vortex and last between 15-30 minutes long depending on group size.

Students who do not attend orientation will have access to Vortex materials, but will not be able to utilize the space for other activities. Starting April 6th, those without the Vortex pass will not be allowed to enter the area unless picking out materials.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
