Calling all designers, fashionistas, Tim Gunn fans, and people who like to have fun!
Have you ever looked at the clothes on store’s racks and thought “I could do better than that”? Here’s your chance! Fountaindale Library is hosting Project Runway: Teen Edition! Each team of designers will have a variety of materials – both traditional and bizarre – and only one hour to create an outfit. Will you make a conservative peplum blouse with mock turtleneck and capped sleeves or a punked out mini, heavy on the duct tape?
Join us on Saturday, May 21 from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. We’ll supply all the materials and tools needed to design, create, and model your outfit. All you have to bring is your creativity and maybe a friend or two.
No sewing experience necessary.
