Earn points for the Summer Adventure by being a champion. Help someone out in your everyday life!

Here are few ways to help out in your everyday life:

  •         Volunteering
  •         Caring for a pet 
  •         Helping your neighbor mow their lawn
  •         Babysitting
  •         Caring for the environment
  •         And anything else that you can think of!

Teen Summer Volunteering

Interested in volunteering this summer?  We are looking for teens, grades 6—12, who are eager to help prepare crafts and materials for programs, assist in organizing and/or cleaning program supplies as well as photocopying, cutting paper, and more.  Teens are asked to visit or call the Vortex at 630.685.4199 for information about the program and to register.

The first session is Saturday, 6/11, 3:00—5:00 p.m. Visit the Calendar of Events for additional dates and times.

You can also find volunteer opportunities in your community. Perform your own random acts of kindness.
